Typical one-car bays share space with a vehicle. Plan steel against a side wall, not the center of the door path.
Clearance notes
- Leave the vehicle path open if the car stays overnight.
- Tall stands and racks need ceiling clearance under the opener and tracks — read listed height on Amazon, do not guess from photos.
- A power stand often fits a side strip sooner than a four-post rack.
- Prefer flat-foot if you cannot (or should not) drill the slab.
